I know that these posts are out of order...but, here are some pictures of Layla, Liam, Marcie and Josh when they have been here and some when Marcie and I took the kids to Frisco and visited with Hobe, Elaine, Brook, Laura and Christopher. It was so good to be with them!

Derek, Taryn, Layla, Liam, Kathryn, Bryce, Jolee, Connor, Macey are all stars of this slide show. The last several months have been filled with such great times with these wonderful children and their awesome parents!! I love every second of being with all of them! We are very excited that Jolee is doing so well and we haven't had many pictures of her...so these are very special!

Darek Clayton McIlmoil...our newest little grandson

Darek was born September 24 at 6:37 am after just an hour of Labor! He weighed 8 lbs. and has a lot of hair which is very dark and very interesting to his darling sister Taryn. He is such a beautiful baby and I had a wonderful time with him and his family for three weeks! When I went back for his blessing I couldn't believe how much he had grown! He is a chubby little boy who really enjoys eating! It is always amazing the love that I feel with each of these sweet, wonderful grandchildren! Tara and Steve are great parents and I love them. The quilt of the bright colored animals is the one I made for Darek and brought out at his blessing! I really had fun making it!

Camping near Lake City

Paul and I went on a little camping trip this weekend and had a great time. We were in a camp site called The Gate. It had 6 camping spots. We were right on the river and had a spectacular view. We enjoyed a little fishing, a bike ride, a hike, ice cream in Lake City, and I took some time to do some water color painting! We left on Monday and came home on Wednesday! Here are some pictures from our camp site. One other fun thing is that when we were driving around, on our way back to our campsite a huge bear, that I think was big enough to be a grizzly!, came busting out of the foliage on the side of the road and ran across the road right in front of us and then broke through a fence and the folliage on the other side and went on his way! it was amazing...I got a few pictures with Paul's camera, but by the time we got it out the bear was pretty far away. I will try and get them on the blog next!

Twins in Montrose

Bryce, Kathryn and April visited Montrose while their Daddy was on a business trip. Vicente also visited for a bit when he dropped everyone off and when he came back from his trip.
It was so much Fun, and even though we tried to be relaxed, we were busy!

visit to California...

When visiting Taryn we went to the Aquarium which she loved and also to the LA zoo. we had such a good time. Taryn is very independent and likes to walk everywhere all by herself, and can walk very long distances! She also Loves the Water! Loves animals and bugs. She is especially interested in turtles, lizards and bees!

Lots of fun times this summer with grandchildren! I had just been to visit Tara, Taryn and Steve in CA, and Tara and I drove to Utah and we went to Thanksgiving point sith all of the Kids! It was very fun to have all of the girls and their babies together!

I have been taking art classes and have completed my first Oil Painting...I am calling it Honeymoon Hibiscus. It is a picture I took on our Honeymoon to Tahiti

It has been very busy and we have loved being with all of our grandchildren. Family is the Highlite of our life.

We have also really enjoyed our yard and gardens. The vegetable garden has been very productive with harvests of Arugala, radishes, onions, carrots, eggplant, summer squash and more summer squash, cucumbers and more cucumbers, brussel sprouts, dill and Indian Corn! We have a couple of cantaloupes that are not going to quite mature in time! Our flower gardens have done really well and I love our little waterfall with all of the flowers around it.

Another great thing here in Montrose is the gorgeous Skies! There are generally very beautiful cloud formations and wonderful sunsets. The weather couldn't be more perfect right now and we are trying to take advantage of it.

Young Women's has been keeping me very busy as well this summer. Girls camp was very successful but I came home EXAUSTED! We also took a temple trip to Vernal, and went to the Best of EFY in Grand Junction. Now we are getting ready for our YW in Excellence and a tri-ward Halloween party that we are hosting.

We have had the Missionaries living at our house and for a while we had 2 sets living here. WE are back down to one set and they are really great. We finally are able to host the missionaries for our own ward and we like that. We will be starting to have a spanish speaking Sacrament meeting and that will be a big thing for our ward to be a part of. We are excited about that.

Paul is getting ready for hunting this fall and we are hoping for both elk and deer as he has drawn tags for both! The hunting and outdoor life is really big here!

The following pictures are not particularly in order but represent our summer and early fall!

Connor had a cast this summer but it was off by the time little baby Jolie was born!

Macey is very involved with the care of this new Baby...She is a great helper...Connor loves his baby sister but also asks "When we are done with the baby can we go to the Park"!

Both Macey and Connor are very proud of their baby sister and are anxious to show her off to everyone...

Jolie Michelle Jones. What a beauty! Born at 7.1. We are so thrilled to welcome our 7th grandchild. Paul and I love being Grandparents.
Grandpa is holding her here!

This was the day of the twins blessing...all of their cousins came for the double event!

What a sweetheart...She started sitting up on her own here in Montrose!

We had a great visit here in montrose. It is very fun for me to see the cousins together!

What a cute cowboy you are Liam

Taryn in Grandma's backyard!

What cute twins and Mommy.

Fishing in the Black canyon at Morrow point...It was a great day and very beautiful. We were in a boat with the Schillers and a guide and caught over 20 fish that day most of them Salmon!
