I have been taking art classes and have completed my first Oil Painting...I am calling it Honeymoon Hibiscus. It is a picture I took on our Honeymoon to Tahiti

It has been very busy and we have loved being with all of our grandchildren. Family is the Highlite of our life.

We have also really enjoyed our yard and gardens. The vegetable garden has been very productive with harvests of Arugala, radishes, onions, carrots, eggplant, summer squash and more summer squash, cucumbers and more cucumbers, brussel sprouts, dill and Indian Corn! We have a couple of cantaloupes that are not going to quite mature in time! Our flower gardens have done really well and I love our little waterfall with all of the flowers around it.

Another great thing here in Montrose is the gorgeous Skies! There are generally very beautiful cloud formations and wonderful sunsets. The weather couldn't be more perfect right now and we are trying to take advantage of it.

Young Women's has been keeping me very busy as well this summer. Girls camp was very successful but I came home EXAUSTED! We also took a temple trip to Vernal, and went to the Best of EFY in Grand Junction. Now we are getting ready for our YW in Excellence and a tri-ward Halloween party that we are hosting.

We have had the Missionaries living at our house and for a while we had 2 sets living here. WE are back down to one set and they are really great. We finally are able to host the missionaries for our own ward and we like that. We will be starting to have a spanish speaking Sacrament meeting and that will be a big thing for our ward to be a part of. We are excited about that.

Paul is getting ready for hunting this fall and we are hoping for both elk and deer as he has drawn tags for both! The hunting and outdoor life is really big here!

The following pictures are not particularly in order but represent our summer and early fall!
